Ice Fishing with an X-Type

Ice Fishing with an X-Type
Today we finally got some relatively warm weather, so I went out with some friends to go ice fishing.
Due to all the very cold weather we've had this season...the ice was thick enough to drive a loaded pulp truck across the lake. So I walked back to the shore and pulled the wagon right up to the shanty.
Took a few pictures to share, just in case you folks in the southern areas haven't seen such a thing.
Now there are a few questions that may naturally come up if you don't live in Maine:
Q: Why in hell would you do that??
A: Just because .
Q: Was alcohol involved?
A: Not with me....but ice fishing and alcohol are usually found together.
Q: Catch anything?
A: We didn't, but some folks fishing about 200 yards away were busy catching bass and small pickerel. We should have been on the lake earlier today and set up over there instead.
Q: Ever dropped a car through the ice before?
A: Not yet in over 30 years of driving on hard water. It does happen when the ice is thinner and alcohol is involved. Insurance companies do not cover such events, and you get fined harshly by the DEP if it isn't pulled out within 3 days.
Q: Is it fun?
A: Yes, I played around with the 'Sport' mode and the Stability Control turned both on and off while driving back to the launch area. This wagon grips very well.
