I have tried everything to start this car. My mechanic said it is in anti theft mode and will not let fuel in. Has fuel pressure at fuel pump and we can turn the starter over by jumping the starter relay. All interior and exterior lights and turn signals, door locks are operating. My mechanic tried to program both key fobs and said they are paired. He now thinks it needs the immobilizer bypass code in order to start. Problem is I live 100



miles from the Jag dealer and would have to rent a car hauler to get it there. Any other way yo generate an immobilizer code? Hate to make the trip and it be something else wrong with it ...

 

The answer is pretty much "no". You would have to go to the dealer and have it programmed.

I see you have posted about similar issues in the past. How did you solve them then? Was the car working fine and now all of a sudden the imobilizer light is blinking? Did you do any recent work to it? What were the circumstances when it happened?

 

It may be worth reading the actual codes and posting them. Even an elm327 ought to be some use.
