Hi. I have the button for a CD Changer (CDC) on the dash of my '03 X-Type and the slot for the changer in the boot. Can some give me some tips on the installation of the changer? I have not yet removed the liner and the station that holds my existing Navigation System and CD Changer. Any assistance is appreciated! Thank you.

very easy to do you will already have the power in the loom it will be warped up and tucked away behind the dvd player.
the hard part is you will have to purchase the fiber optic loop (ebay) and splice it into the system. dont panic its not as hard as it sounds you just need a small screwdriver. there are step by step instructions if you need them

 

If you just buy a single fibre optic lead (as pictured) rather than a ready daisy chained version you can add it to the loop.

I did receive a cable with the CD Changer. I'm at work (opps) and I will check the unit when I get home. Thanks for the advice!
