Default Interior power outlet

The power outlet under my radio seems to be really loose for some reason. It doesn't want to connect to a car charger. The lighter knob works, but the little effer ejects out and flies far. How would I get about fixing this little problem? I haven't disassembled the interior too much except for the dome lighting.

Fezz, from what you are describing, it sounds like the clear plastic ring around the lighter is broken and that is allowing the socket to move freely. Doing a little bit of looking, a new cigarette lighter will cost you about $60 (requires buying the whole ashtray). May want to double check with the local dealership on that just to make sure. Maybe you can get just the lighter assembly itself for a little bit less.
