About three times in the last couple months when I turn off the car and turn off the lights all of a sudden my high beam indicator comes on and the lights are actualy on. The car is off, the light switch is in the off position and the key is out. I was also not using the high beams while driving. While driving the high beam indicator is not on and only pops on after I turn off the lights. Not sure if this would turn off itself after a while or is something that is somehow supposed to happen that I am triggering unknowingly. I put the key back in and turn it to the accessory mode and then turn it back off and it's fine. Happens very sporadically and was wondering if someone else has experienced this and if what it might take to fix it. It's a 2005 by the way. It's still under warranty for a little while longer, but I could see telling the dealer and if they can't replicate it while it's there they couldn't fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

 

maybe your pressing the headlight switch on your remote.. or a harness issue

 

I tried the key fob remote. I guess it's possible, but maybe not likely as to activate the lights you would have to grab the fob at the end. Kind of an unnatural way to turn the car off, but could be. I have been known to do a lot of dumbass stuff in my life. I'll keep an eye out if/when it happens again. Thanks for responding!!
