Default jag barely starts in mn cold

My 02 x type is throwing the code0171 which is too lean so I cleaned the air filter and haven't changed any gaskets yet but in this cold morning weather it doesn't want to stay running is this due to the running lean problem goes in and out of limp mode any advice would be helpful!!!

I've moved your post from Jaguar Forums Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center to X-Type forum. The Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center is for posts about the forum and not for technical question.

Members here with the same model will be able to advise.

Probably the cause. It can't get the fuel right as the air is wrong.

I can say my X-type has been running much worse and getting 7mpg less driving it here in MN winters. I actually have it parked right now and started driving my truck.
