Default The Jag is getting traded in

Yeah... it was fun, but I don't have the time and/or inclination to keep it properly. What a sweet ride.

We're trading it in on a new Jetta SEL. Dealer gave us 3 thousand for it. 85k miles on it.

Interestingly... the Jetta and the X-Type are almost EXACTLY the same length, width and height. The Jetta weighs more by 500 to 700 pounds depending on models compared I guess.

I can not thank you guys enough for all the help. Without you I would have given up a long time ago. You made things I thought would be horribly difficult ... easy.

I'll still check in from time to time to see how y'all are doing.

Thanks again,
Charlie

Nobody likes a quitter... lol

I have felt this way many, many times over the past 3 yrs... Each day I wonder what will need to be repaired next, but I have the luxury of another vehicle as a backup and I really do enjoy driving my Jag and then figuring out the problem and fixing it when I can by myself.

Good luck and do stop by occasionally, if for nothing other than to see what happens next!!

yardbird, have you looked at the XE? Granted, for what you are paying for the Jetta, you can probably get a 3 year old XF and have a nicer car and stay in a Jag. Just a thought.

Totally agree with Thermo, furthermore Jetta have a bad transmission reputation!
