That may very well work, but I would source out a used one from another Jag as the new ones do get a little pricey. I know there is someone online through ebay that make polyurethane ones but they are a bit pricey too from what I remember

wazrun, take a stroll through your local wrecking yard (Pick-N-Pull place, whatever you want to call it). Take a look at the Taurus' with the 3.0L motor and see if the mounts are the same. Worst case, take a picture of both mounts to see how close they are. It is possible that it will cross, but it may not. May want to also look at the Volvo S40 for the same general year as this will also be possibly a close match. Not sure what motor is in the Volvo, but the X-Type shares some parts with the S40.

I dont think the Volvo one will work since they use inline 4s or 5s, no v6. Make sure you are looking at a duratec v6 3.0 Taurus and not the Vulcan 3.0 v6. I have no idea if it will actually work though so if you find that it does please let us know.

What's an inspection sticker? Move to Florida. We allow all kinds of Junkers on our roads!
Good luck on the fix.
