I need to buy a good code reader that can read Jaguar codes... My local dealer chargers £90.00 around $140.00 just to read them, any ideas?

Also I have code 16 for my airbag light any ideas?

Perform a search on the forum - there are a few good options out there on the cheap. (I use a Matco Determinator) As far as the code 16 for SRS - this has to do with the passenger side air bag but you need the reader to figure out the specific B2290 code and 2 digit symptom thereafter (24) - (31)

Is that 16 an Airbag flash code? You'll need something like AutoEnginuity to read Airbag 'Bxxxx' and 'Cxxxx' codes. A Code Reader or basic ELM scantool won't do.

If you have an android phone, go with the elm327 ($15) and the torque pro app ($5.) I've used it for a year and it always reads the codes correctly
