Hi!
So, this happened to me this morning: i started up my jaguar x-type `03 and left in a sec. because i was running late, and the clutch remained stick to the floor, and i couldn`t put the car in any gear, i had to lift the clutch by hand, and after that it worked perfectly. After that, this evening i tried to do the same thing, giving the car a powerfull start, the clutch remained again stuck to the floor. Any ideeas on what should i do next?

 

Sound like the Pressure plate springs are bad or the throw-out bearing is hanging up some how.


Have you checked the Clutch fluid reservoir lately?

 

I replaced both brakes and clutch fluid today and it works fine now, even when i tried to push it , the clutch comes back. Thanks
