Hi

Please help in getting the sound when i play CD or CDC.

No issues when Radio is playing. But when i change the source to CD or CDC, the screen shows that tracks are being played but no sound can be heard.

Can hear the sound when Radio is playing but when i turned to CD or CDC, Display shows that the tracks are playing but NO SOUND can be heard.

 

I have a similar problem. the factory CD sounds great but the 12 disk after market CD changer has no sound. the cdc button does nothing. the after market is installed face is installed below the CD factory where the cig lighter was. it seems to be working fine and tracking normally. just no sound. ??

 

I have a 2006 s-type 3.0 L

 

You need to get the radio/CDC re-programmed. Any jag guy should be able to do it. I don't know why your system stopped working but the CD part needs turning on. A Jag specialist should be able to do it for you.
