What about using the physical key in the driver's door?
Is there a manual key hole int he passenger front door as well? (I'm at work and the x-type is at home so I can't quickly check if the passenger's door also has a manual key lock)

We tried many times with the physical key and it does not open. We even dripped WD 40 oil through the keyhole. It doesn't turn on. Please help if anyone has knowledge on the subject.
gulsun, my feeling on this is you are going to need to spend a little bit of time doing 1 of 2 methods to get the door unlocked. I think the quicker way is going to be getting a tool like a "slim jim" and slide it along the glass to get to the interior of the door. You will then have to play around to try and catch the latches on either the manual locks or the door latch (since it is a Ford based latch, it should have an override if the handle gets pulled on the latch itself, which would then allow the door to open, even with the locks activated. The second method would be to get yourself a long metal rod (old coat hanger?) using a little bit of wood, gently pry the top of the door away from the roofline to give yourself a bit of access to the interior of the car. From there, using the metal rod, reach in and attempt to either grab the door handle or the manual door lock and attempt to get the door to unlock/open. If attempting the door handle, it may be easier to try and reach across the car and go after the opposite side handle.
I guess the last resort option is to simply bust out the window to give you access to the inside. From there, you can diagnose the problem. Atleast here in the US, most insurances will have a minimal deductible that you would have to pay to get a new piece of glass installed.
I pondered a way to apply power to the lock circuit, but everything is powered from the GEM which is in the interior of the car, if you have access to that, then you would not need to do what I would recommend.
