Yes, I've seen more and more examples of people buying new ( brand new out the box ) cars and advising the dealership NOT to do the PDI and to ensure they leave on all the grease / wrap etc.

They've then paid for a detailer to completely detail the brand new car to BETTER than showroom standards, removing many fine / hairline scratches, swirls marks etc etc.
It can be £400 to £600 or in that region to have this done, but you know it is as perfect as perfect can be.

Watching the video, if you want to see me, go to 2:06:30 and look over the left shoulder of Ian Cullen, there is a guy standing there in a teal shirt with his back to the camera. That is me. I walk off screen at about 2:07:38 and return on screen at 2:09:15. I was waiting to do a little bit infront of another camera that they had on the front of the car. I didn't do that good of a job with the interview, so, I doubt that I will be seen standing by myself in front of the car. But, hard to say.

I am going to be doing more watching of the video to see if I appear elsewhere.

Exterior of the car looks fine to me, channeling a bit more BMW & Audi than I'd like, but fine. Interior (dashboard) is scary bland. But the proof of the pudding will be how it performs in relation to the market leaders in this very competitive segment, not to mention how reliable it turns out to be. We can only hope for the best for Jaguar.
