Default Jaguar xtype 2003 blank screen

Hi someone please help me
I have a jaguar 2003 2.0d manual I entered the secret menu using code 1971 did a diagnostic all was clear accidently hot the s/w update button and it said caution on screen with some writing I cannot remember exact message I tried said but was to do with the message I tried pushing other button to get if for the s/w update caution nothing worked so I turned car off and on now it's got a blank menu the main screen fan isn't on full heat nothing works I cannot turn screen on or off and the fan doesn't turn on or anything

i only have a map cd
can any1 help me please thankyou much appreciated

I have a similar problem ,but have you tried getting back into the 1971 menu ?
I have just posted a thread on this and hope someone can help.

You've wiped the software so will need to reload - there's a thread with it somewhere.

Doesn't always work in which case you replace the module.

i tried getting back to the menu again but nothing is working at all no buttons just blank screen
