Lambda sensor
Does the Jaguar X-Type 2.5 V6 use a jump lambda sensor or a wideband lambda sensor? You can't trust the spare parts sellers. Their descriptions are contradictory. And it looks like the first one near the radiator is a wideband lambda sensor and the one behind is a jump lambda sensor. Both are heated.
Ahoj, I don't know the answer to your question, but when I saw the term "Lambda Sensor" in your question, I noticed that I have not heard this term in about a quarter of a century (That's when I moved from Germany to Australia). This term is being used in Germany (where it is actually called Lambdasonde) - and apparently also in Slovakia, but I am not sure, if anyone on this forum here would know it - here in the forum they call it OXYGEN SENSOR...

The only thing I would say about the oxygen (Lambda) sensors is make sure you replace with original Denso sensors. Many on here ,including me, have found out to our cost that aftermarket ones even quite expensive ones do not always work. Very sensitive to this the X type is.
You can tell from the Electrical Guide if you look at it carefully.
