well im not sure if this is the best way to do this or not. im not sure that continue from a stale thread, or start a new one. but rather than clog the system i will continue from here on my progress. at this point i have reassembled the motor and the problem continued. so we checked that off. i already changed the maf sensor so why not replace the map sensor as i did. well things seamed to get better. now i can rev the engine to 4500 rpm one time after another with no problem. i could even rev and hold the rpm at 4000 for a couple secs before the limp mode kicked in. but if you let it idle for a couple seconds, the light goes out and is not longer in limp mode. so i ran a code test. P1313 Misfire Rate Catalyst Damage Fault - Bank 1. and P1316 Misfire Rate Exceeds Emissions . and then it showed P300 which really made no sense. so. yeah.... um exactly what does this mean? any input greatly appreciated
