Default List of other manufacturer's wheels that fit?

Does anyone know what other car manufactures wheels will fit(i.e. Ford, Mazda, Volvo...)? I would like to get a set of 16" wheels for winter use. If Ford's or something else will work I would like to try and get some at the local salvage yard.

wyxtype, a lot of manufacturers use the same bolt pattern (5x108) as is on our cars. The trick will be getting the correct offset/backspacing to make the rim work. A lot of the Ford FWD cars and a majority of the Volvo line use this size bolt pattern. Mazda should use the same bolt pattern as there are a lot of ties between Mazda and Ford. Can probably use some Lincoln models too. The big thing you want to check on is the bolt pattern and offset. That will be more of a tell than "it works on this vehicle".

The Mazda's don't use 5x108. Volvos do, and ford focus and Lincoln LS do too. So does Ferrari haha.

contour wheels wont work either, the US model had a 4x108 pattern like the first generation focus.
