download,
burn with any software to a blank DVD and finalize.
Eject your nav disc and insert the loading.kwi disc
remove your keys for 30 seconds
start your car
everything should be ok after about 5-15 mins

Hello, I was just wondering exactly what software to use to burn the file. And in which format to burn it. BC when you burn a DVD as data, It doesn't load the same way as burning a bootable DVD like say....for a Operating system boot disc.

I just need a little more information on how to burn it

This is for my dads car and when we inject the Navigation DVD in his System in the trunk. The dvd spins and makes noises. But I tried to burn someone elses KWI file from another thread and it didn't spin at all when we injected it.

As a side note too. The KWI file from the other thread here at the site is only 7MB, while yours is 103MB.

I decided I would use yours to see if it will work.

Did you find the correct burn mode (bootable disk or data disk with finalise)?

Any chance having the file (the one over 100mb) available somewhere or to my email? tknuutila (a t) gmail.vom?

hi paul I've burned file to DVD R+

by send file to DVD then write to DVD and burned the copy I put ignition to on and ejected cd from DVD boot and put in the new burned cd turned ignition of for waited 30seconds and turned on the ext 50 51 vanished for 5seconds and come back flashing car was in for 25mins but nothing happened

what Ann I doing wrong could you please help me thankyou

 

ASi,

Try burning the unzipped file to a CD not a DVD.
the file cannot be in a folder.
burn at the slowest speed and finalize the disc.
What software did you use to burn the disc? I used roxio creator LE10 when i did mine and that worked but the windows disc utility did not.
Do you hear the DVD drive spool up when you turn on the ignition also I had the engine running when I did mine not sure it makes a difference.

appreciated. I have now copied to a cd and tried but no luck at all

i am using the windows original burning software it comes with all windows when I put in cd it loads and then I right click file and click send to cd/DVD drive and then 'I go to cd/DVD and click burn

what free burning device can I use ? Also when you finalize how do I do that? Becausen I burn it once done it just ejects the cd
( if it is not much headache for you if you could send me the cd you used that works and I couldn pay you for it as well I if that could be ok with you I live in

I found that the windows burning software did not work for me either
Roxio did however

 

Hi i hi I have tried all of this again but I have still had no luck I have installed Rocio and also finalized the DVD - R and + R but none have worked for me what am I still doing wrong I even took out nav and I clipped and relaxed clipped all wires disconnected batter for 1 hour still no luck
