I have a pioneer z3 double din navigation screen which I would like to install in my 02 x type 2.5 non premium sound. Does anyone know where I can find the facia kit, and adaptors for this install from a canadian source? I tried futureshop and best buy but they all say they dont carry it and cant order it as its not a regular item. I would prefer to buy canadian so I dont have to bother with the exchange rate and duties.

If no one has a canadian source then I guess I can suck it up and buy it from an american source.

you may be hard pressed to find it from an american source. most of the people I have seen selling them are from the UK, on ebay and other websites. I saw 1 american seller on ebay selling a used one, but nothing other than UK otherwise.

 

In my view...best to get what you need all in one place...Nothing available here in the USA. I ordered all my parts from http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk that was 2.5 weeks ago...they seem like a good source & replied to every email I sent within 24 hrs..tracking as of yesterday showed my parts just entered into USA....what the ^*#@..gee I thought I would have started this project already...santa claus will be long gone and with the cold weather setting in along with my other projects this is starting to look more & more like a spring install....well at least I got all the bench mods & hacks done to my headunit...(Avic F90BT)..so I know it works.

I see another guy on site ?? (laslabs) ?? started a thread on building custom sub boxes and possible facia plates...maybe he can help you.

If you want a dash kit you need to find a local dealer that sells metra products. You can have the shop order one for you, to ensure you get the correct one have them look up the part number for it.

That is definitely not it. What kit is that? Can't be metra, the metra kit matched better.
