hey guys i was recently driving my xtype around when suddenly i noticed the temp was rising and the fan were not turning on. at first i thought the fan motors were done for but they seem to be fine, anyways i replaced just the fan motors. The next day turned it on and the fans still were not kicking in. Thats when i found out that the module was bad but i seem to be having trouble try to get my hands on one. Does anyone know where i could purchase one?

 

jcasimir, look on e-bay and see what you can find there. Otherwise, check out your local wrecking yard and see what they have. After that, you can go to the dealership and get the upgraded module, but that is going to be the more expensive route. You can probably save a few bucks by checking out Nalley Jaguar (sponsor here, tell them so) and they can get you the module you are after. If you go through the dealership, odds are you are going to need to get an adapter harness as they changed the plug on the newer style unit. You can also check out "Jaguar Parts" - Jaguar parts and accessories catalog. they are a dealership out of Cleveland and they are selling the module for $415 along with the new harness for $79 (P/N c2s46951). List price has it just over $600 through the dealership.
