Lost all mid range sound...

Hey all! I was driving down the freeway a couple of weeks ago, and out of the blue all my mid range speakers cut out. The tweeters and the sub still work but that's it. Is there a fuse for the amp or did I possibly lose the channel on the head unit? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!

pitboss, do you have the basic system (4 speakers) or do you have the premium system (7 speakers-notably the tweeters in the front corner of the doors). If you have the basic system, then I would be looking at a bad amp. It just so happened you probably blew a capacitor of some sort and it is only affecting the mid range sounds. But, if you have the premium system, I would be looking at your speakers and you simply didn't hear the first speakers go and when the final speaker finally went, that is when you heard the mid range drop out.

I've got the premium, and losing them one at a time could be a real possibility. I'll be sure to take a look at the speakers. Thanks for all your help. I was really at a loss.
