"Low outside temperature" will not go away.
Once i get "Low outside temperature" message, is stays on the screen the whole time. I can change the view and see other info, but in a few seconds the temperature message comes back on.
Did anyone else have this problem? Any ideas how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ruslan,
Please read the owner's manual carefully. It says in there that this is a normal message when temperature is low (usually appears under 0 Celsius).
However, if you want to hide this message you can do it by pushing the "Reset" button from the lights block (same button that helps you reset the trip mileage).
You can proceed in this way with all the messages that bothers you, but anytime you press "Reset" again they will be back until the problem is fixed (in this case the temperature will go up). They are displayed in the emergency order the most dangerous one appearing always first.
Otherwise no worries.
i hope it helped.

ruslan, I thought I had a problem with mine not going away. Some of the things that I learned about mine:
1) depress the "RESET" button on the headlight switch for a brief moment (quick push in and then release). Pressing and holding the button will only cause the "Low Temperature" to remain
2) after starting the car, let the yellow "Caution" indicator go out before attempting to reset the "Low Temperature" indication. I have noticed when I go to reset the indication with the yellow light lit, very rarely will it reset.
3) atleast in my car, the "Low Temperature" indication comes on at 40F (5C). Should the temperature rise above this point and then back down (happens when you drive through a tunnel for example), it will cause the "Low Temperature" message to come back on.
Hope this helps.

Same here, the reset button by the headlamp controls always made it stop nagging me until I restart the car. I wonder why we need to be warned about the temperature? Granted there was a few times I went skiing in Vermont where we left nyc and it was 30 degrees and in the mountains it was 7 - but still we were aware of the outside temp. Maybe if it went off at freezing rather than 40 - but oh well...

Not sure what the difference is re: what is triggering the 'Low Temp Outside" message but it is definately cold where I am and has been for the last month (anywhere from -5c to -25c). My message comes on for a brief moment after I have started the car *but then goes off* - I would think this is how it should work no? Not sure why you all have yours constantly on? Strange. I could understand if it were to come on every once in a while too if the temp fluctuates and it senses a change. Maybe different operational modes based on the X year/model... but I thought I'd share my observations to add more confusion .
