Default Lower Side Trim Piece

So, I believe one of the kids used the trim as a step up into the back seat and snapped off a couple of the plastic fasteners. I removed the piece to look it over and gather some fasteners to take to the auto parts store to find some suitable replacements. After arriving back home to see how the new fasteners will fit I noticed the the last plastic support that is attached to the trim piece has become unattached at the top.

Any thoughts as to the best way to reattach this support? I was thinking jb weld of something similar, my concern is that it will not adhere correctly or permanently. There is only a small strip of the support that attaches to the trim piece.

Appreciate any help/tips that you can throw my way!

Thanks Dr. I found a few videos that showed people using see glue and baking soda, another one used a product called Q Bond. I'll try the super glue fix first.

This is the main trim piece that runs from wheel to wheel under the passenger side doors... Maybe I could convince the wife that only real way to fix it would be to get a nice ground effects kit from Arden!
