Default Luxer LED Bulbs for reverse lamps

I bought these super elite JDM LED's that all the high end cars supposedly run, and installed them into my reverse lamps. Overall im happy with them, but for the price I would have expected them to be a bit brighter.

Their other products seem to be much brighter, unfortunately our dome lights are not compatible with any of their kits.

It looks nice and bright in the taillight housing, but from looking at the ground, it doesn't seem like it illuminates much else. Your stock light looks like it lights up the road better.

Well, at least its only in your backup lamps, as long as people behind you can see them, they don't normally illuminate everything behind you anyway.

I actually tried them out yesterday in broad daylight and they are horrible, you can hardly tell they are on. I picked up some PIAA 1156's instead, I have confidence that they will be 100x better, I had them in my truck and they were really nice.

I understand your disappointment, choosing the correct LED replacement for either brake, turn, reverse lamps, markers, etc takes alot of research and often, many attempts to find a suitable bulb that not only is equally bright, but fills out the designed reflector so that light goes where it's supposed to.

Usually I have been getting my LED's from Superbrightleds.com, but I see that V-LEDS.com has much more selection with much brighter lights. I think I will try some from there in the future.

the best taillights to get are the halogen bulbs. BUT i will caution you they get real hot so dont stay in reverse more than needed or you may have issues with melting your housing

That's exactly what I did, I bought PIAA halogen 1156 bulbs in their extreme white color. I've come to realize that unless you buy some 40-60 SMT led bulbs at $40+ EACH! Its not worth putting LED's in the reverse lights.
