manuals
There's none available. But I did buy a Chilton, European Edition 2005 from J.C. Whitney. It does cover the X-Type on many things.
I also just ordered a CD from Electronic Manuals Co.in the UK which I'm hoping will cover more.

A book would be nice, I had bought a CD copy of JTIS for rge 1995-2004 S &X-types off of ebay for under $20. It is fairly handy and gives some line drawing pictures and good info.
Quite useful for torque specs, etc. It is in my opinion a little goofy to navigate around in though.

Jvegas,
Which JTIS did you get??
I tried one venders download and anothers CD and neither one was very good. They both had some files that I couldn't open with anything I had access to. I finally got my money back and bought the Chilton Hard copy from JC Whitney. Of course it covers more than Jaguar so it's not as good as a single make or model manual. But what it does cover it is fairly good.
I'm waiting to receive the CD from Electronic Manuals Co. to see if it is any good. They say it covers just about everything needed, but it doesn't say it's a JTIS version. Here's hopping it's a good and usable copy.

I contacted Haynes when I bought mine about X Type manuals. They arent allowed to make them until a cetain number of years has passed from the X type launch. Now looking forward to 2011......[&:]
There is a website where you can download the JTIS and also the Jaguar GTR website where you pay a fee to download info.
