Marker Lights
How do you get at the marker light bulbs to replace them and what is the bulb type? I'm sure the coversjust pop off but that might be an expensive lesson to learn. Newbie question I'm sure but I can't find anything after searching for a few hours (lots of great reading though). Also, on that note, what is a good resource to purchase as far as CD's or manuals go.
Thanks in advance

RE: Marker Lights
Bruce, if you look at the side marker lights, they are flat on one end and pointed on the other. The flat end has a groove in it and the pointed end has a friction clip on it. So, you can take something that is stuff yet soft (ie, screw driver with some masking tape over the end-doesn't scratch the paint) and gently lift straight out on the pointed end. Once the friction clip releases (about 1/2" from the body), then you can slide it to the side a little bit and it will fall free. Then you can give the plug a 90 degree turn and this will expose the bulb. Keep in mind that if you want to free the marker lightfrom the vehicle without removing the bulb, then you have to remove the U-shaped metal clip holding the plug to the marker light.

NOT a bad question........I broke one of mine trying to remove it![] Just glued it back togehter with some 3M emblem and trim adhesive. I guess Thermo's methond will work but I belive the manual has you push toward the pointed end and then lift outward. The metal clip
is a spring clipat least I thought it was. The bulb you need is a W5W. They usually come in a pack of 2 and you can get them at any auto parts store. The W5W's are used all over the place on the car so it would not hurt to have a couple of extras on hand.

Like Jagx V6 said, you can also remove it the other way. In this case, you take the screw driver again and insert it between the marker light and the chrome trim, perpendicular to the car. Then you slide the screwdriver towards the pointed end. You will need to slide it about a 1/4". Then you can lift straight towards you.
