go to a autoparts store, theyll pull and clear the code and you can see whats its on for, may be totally coincidence

Just so you know alleyez the hids actually use less power than your normal halogen. Like I said take it to your local autozone and bring the codes back and we can tell you what each value means and Brutal can help you out more specifically with what the code says. The electrical system (from what I viewed with mine) is very weird sometimes and just disconnecting the battery can do funny things.

Yeah, get those codes read, I am dying to hear what happened! I have done the hid upgrade and no codes. Did you blow any fuses while the car was running by any chance?

i think the two are unrelated. i have never heard of the HID's causing anything to go wrong.
