HID's Installed now Engine Light on -Help

HID is working fine. Didn't intsall any relays with it. Is this light on b/c of the drop in power? Has this happened to any of you? Is this serious? Any ideas fellas to get it off? Im a newbie here

go to a autoparts store, theyll pull and clear the code and you can see whats its on for, may be totally coincidence

Just so you know alleyez the hids actually use less power than your normal halogen. Like I said take it to your local autozone and bring the codes back and we can tell you what each value means and Brutal can help you out more specifically with what the code says. The electrical system (from what I viewed with mine) is very weird sometimes and just disconnecting the battery can do funny things.

Yeah, get those codes read, I am dying to hear what happened! I have done the hid upgrade and no codes. Did you blow any fuses while the car was running by any chance?

No fuses blown. Disconnected the battery then connected the HID's then reconnected the battery and they fired right up. Been using them for 2 days now, work fine ,but can't figure out the CEL. Disconnected the neg terminal last night for about 15 min to see if that would shut the light off but no go. I will try and get to autozone sometime this week.
