I am missing a part on the front of my 2002 X-Type and I am not sure what it is to order it.

Can we get a better detailed description of what is missing off the front of your car? Or maybe even a picture to help us?

 

Apparently the pic did not attach it is a small piece below the grill on the front bumper cover. ^X2...... We don't know if you mean the bumper or the headlights or the leaper or whatever....ya gotta give us a little more than that. Although using my powers of b.s., I am going to say you are asking about the front splitter that resides in the opening in the bumper.



Note - I must have posted this just as you were posting above. Odd. But hey, I guessed right!!

Yes, that is the splitter vane. Cost is about $75.

 

Everyone that has installed a lower mesh grill probably still has their splitter laying around the garage collecting dust. Ask around!

OR.... you could look at doing the mesh grilles upgrade upper n lower?
There's more than a few threads c/w pics / costs and how to's if you're interested?

 

I've never seen a splitter look like that... Is that your car dkoucky? or is that a picture off the net?

When I took my splitter out and replaced it with a mesh grill it was just an empty hole before the upgrade... or am I under the influence? lol

 

That is a pic from my car, I just looked down there the other day and it did not look right. Do you know roughly what it cost to put the mesh kit on? I called Jaguar and you were right on about the cost, but then I either have to drive 3 hours to the nearest dealer or pay have it shipped. It looks like I will be able to fix it now one way or another, Thank you for the help!
