dont misconstrue my meaning, first my cost for my jag was $13k. didn't go in with blinders on, knew what i was getting into. heck i had a land rover, seems evey british car shop in the area knew my first name, still did most of my own maintenance on it and continue to do most on the jag, just stating the possible stigma of owning a jag and how some people think we as jag owners are. i understand how non jag owners could think since this is a high line marque car.it's still cheaper than my rover, my truck was paid for, and still with the monthly jag payment and scheduled maintenance, it's cheaper...if you want to fix paint chips with a magic marker or go with all the arden custom stuff go for it, just please have some panache,class, and smile!!! Ahhhh! Pride of ownership. Whether it's your first or last car, treat your Jag with dignity (insert own definition here), be entusiastic about whatever you can accomplish yourself regarding maintenance and repair, and know that at least some of the "others" on the road are envious of your ride...
