Thank you, sir! Will do!

I had an incident coming out of a shopping mall and into the car park, where I had parked on the only unoccupied spot; nearest the door. A young punk and his friends sitting outside in his VW 1995 Golf with faded paint and Focal-stickers in the back window pointed and laughed at me when I unlocked the car, and then asked me how lazy I could be, parking nearest to the door. Got annoyed and told him that I might be lazy, but at least I had class. - and drove away. Ignorant haters be hating, don't bother with them.
Haha, sounds about right.. Haters are what make me smile as I drive out of the mall parking lot with their monthly salary in my shopping bags

But seriously.. These cars are such attention ******! Damn you Jaaaag designer!

Good point. I go there because they give me free coffee every 3 trips, lol.

Free coffee, two of my favorite words, in the same sentence!

With all this talk about how cool the Jag X is, I noticed there is only one pic of a cool Jag, and that one needs to be rotated 90. I'll admit, I go to Starbucks for the $5 coffee, but only on the wknds, and bc there is a cute barista I'm working on. Sometimes, you've just got to wear a girl down until she'll go out with you

I will take some interior/exterior pics tomorrow. And nope, I don't have to "work" on them - they always say yes

It's obvious to me (after my 14th cup of coffee) that many of you might be posting here as a result of having (the newly quantified psychiatric condition) "Caffeine Use Disorder".

This thread really is "parked over the line".

Possibly it is a result of too much that "Alternator Smoke" (as Thermo called it in a recent post).

Here is a short video that might be fitting; it has taken up two parking spots in my head ever since I saw it back in 1971.

(Broadcast of this song was banned by the U.S. Federal Communication Commission at the time)

I feel like people are real insecure about how new or old cars are. Like they would rather have an 2014 Kia Soul than a 2004 Jaguar because... gasp... it's so old and round looking! The fact of the matter is it's a better designed car than most of the newer cars out there. Sure it doesn't have LED running lights but it's still a sweet looking car. Cars go back and forth from being square/sharp (as they are now) to round and curvy (like the X-Type). I still like my car, even more so because it is a 10 year old car and it still looks pretty good. I think it looks like an Aston Martin. The fact of the matter is cars haven't changed at all in 10 years! Get over it people. Only difference is now they come with LED lights and fancier stereos.

Good point! And those led lights burn out too fast anyways.. And I had a $400 pioneer touch screen stereo installed in my jag , so it's just as new (if not better) than a new car.

The amount of natural resources, energy consumed and waste created from a new car build is sinful. We should be commended on keeping our older cars on the road.

Cool By the Lord harry, by jove!

" it doesn't have LED running lights "

I couldn't agree more re the fads and trends and what you've said, all TRUE in my view but I hate LED lights.

To me, that represents audi and bmw eurgggh! Gadzooks!

My car is not a Christmas tree!

I don't want a siren to announce my X Type JAGUAR!

I just want to cruise in nice and quietly and the people I want to speak to will probably say "hello!"

I don't want to speak to anyone else, however some may wish to express an opinion when they hear :
"Black sabbath- Heaven and Hell", or AC^DC Highway to Hell".

Or is it just me? Stu

Hmm, I seem to have ended this fine thread/post!

Okay fellas, I do believe the ultimate pose is cruising up nice and slow, but obviously SLIGHTLY over-revving/breaking and turning the wheels simultaneously for the odd camera-shot, and nonchalant MILLIONAIRE SMILE whilst not too blaringly oozing "Nessun Dorma" by the Great Pavarotti!

AND greetings and thanks to lavaman, we all have decidely DIFFERENT VIEWS on starbucks, but a I've heard a heckova lotta WOMEN GO THERE!

... MUST DASH... in my Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggg!

Now you have done it Stuart.

"The great Pavarotti"???

If you like Nessum, then listen to all of Turandot with Franco Corelli. You will never listen to Pavarotti the same way again.

Pavarotti was exceptionally good but Corelli was divine. He just did not have the star power.
