Moving to Frederick, MD
Anybody in this forum from this area, and if so, do you know a good shop that I can bring my car to? I don't know why, but it's kind of important to me that I trust the guys that work on my car are familiar with my car, and not just hand it over to just anybody. I'm really looking for Frederick and the close surrounding areas. I'm a Marine recruiter, so I work from sun up to sun up Mon-Fri and half days or more on Saturday. Don't have much time to travel to get service done. If anybody knows, then you're just about awesome in my book. Thanks.

E6N, I am not familiar with any shops up in that area. Granted, if you don't mind an occasional drive a little south (about 2 hours south), I am down in Great Mills, MD and I am always working on vehicles. We can take care of most of your needs. Besides, it will be good to talk with a brother in arms (Pax River naval station is down near me, retired navy guy here).

Doubt that he'll work on an X type but I'd suspect he could tell you who would if he won't. He just gave me the impression that he specializes on the old stuff but he is one heck of a nice guy. He has a TVR I've gotten some parts off of. Once he got to know me he started checking a pull-a-part junkyard price list for prices. No idea how close Rockville and Fredrick are. I absolutley dread the D.C. area and avoid it like the plague.
