Is the air cleaner element and other parts CARB certified for the X-Type?

If your asking if its 50 state legal the company is owned by K&N. So yes.

If the vehicle is registered in California, the smog station is going to ask you for the CARB (California Air Resources Board) certification number indicating that the design and installation has been tested on the Jaguar X-Type and approved by CARB. If you do not have the certification number, the vehicle is failed by the smog station.

Your installation looks very professional and well thought out. I have yet to see any proof of improved performance by this type of inlet design, but it does have a nice aesthetic appeal.

Of course they are Thats why I kept the stock intake. Performance wise I am sure it does nothing. But it has a nice growl.
