Hi Fosquate, Super car, it looks in very original condition and very well looked after. I am in the UK and have a 2004 X-Type 2.5 SE auto. It is emerald green with a cream leather interior. I have only owned it for about 3 months and already love it. I will post some pictures when I have worked out how to do it.
Chris.

Nice detail! I love that you added the chrome grille to the sport model, too. It goes against everything Americans tend to like .

agree, its kinda crazy to cover up the wooden trim in the car with those carbon fiber sheets but they really look good.

He did great work, too. It isn't easy getting the edges and corners right, trust me.

Looks sweet man. I'm a fan of the woodgrain myself. But that Carbon does look pretty sweet. I think the black accents it. Well done.

I think it looks really great with the black interior. It would not look good with a lighter intrior like mine. Great job all around though. Thanks for sharing.

Wow I thought my 03 was in good condition, yours is super, where did you get the carbon fiber and did it go over the wood or the did you take the wood off. If so how and was it easy? Welcome to our humble forum. I am the old man of the group, partially handicapped from a bad back and maybe cancer also. But other than that I feel great, as I have a Jaguar X.

Smile Dash inserts

Anyway if it is cracked, I need to get a new piece, I google'd wood dashes and found a couple of suppliers but none had the correct color. I have a almost blonde wood trim on my car. First one I ever saw in that color. Shift knob is dark wood however? Any ideas or help would be appreciated. By the way if your leaper breaks and it will my son has a 15 minute CD on how to fix, This CD is to fix the leaper if it breaks off, the OEM is held together by a piece of string, or very cheap wire. My son fixed mine and it is better than factory for $5.00 US. To cover postage and copying from his computer. I like your dash look a lot.

For Adam... It is 3M Di-Noc vinyl. He opted for white, I (and I think gragner) opted for black. You need to remove your dash pieces and carefully apply with a heat gun and precision Exacto knife work (like upholstery).
