Major coolant leak from this place.
Attached to rubber hoses
Shaped like a "T"

Need to fix this so badly

 

Also....it's underneath the air filter housing

 

You'll have to replace that entire hose/plastic piece. I replaced mine last summer. Dealer price was $130 for me. It was a pain in the *** to change. Took about 2 hours from start to finish in the Carolina heat.

BTW, is it a hairlinecrack? That's how mine was. I'd smell coolant and could never figure out where it was coming from until I removed the filter box and found my problem.

Anyway, the dealer will know exactly what you're talking about. I'm not sure of the name of the hose, butthey usually have it in stock. I wonder why...

Not sure what the name of the part was. Chances are, it's a dealer only part. I doubt you'll be able to go anywhere else and find it. Unless you go to a junkyard, which I wouldn't recommend for a coolant related part.

 

Sounds like you are talking about the upper radiator hose. Comes with thermostat housing etc on it. Sucks to change. Dealer only I would say.

http://www.jaguarparts.com lists the part as availabe. It's called Upper Hose X-Type and includes Thermostat & Housing. $93.29 + shipping.
I can't say yet how reliable they are yet. I'm still waiting on a fan control module that their web site says is available and they confirmed the order but haven't sent it out yet. I have a call into them now and still wait for them to call back.
But you can try them and see what luck you have.

 

how long ago did you order it?

 

Ordered it June 11th in the afternoon and it was confirmed same day. I called them today had to leave a message and my number. They didn't get back to me today however. Hoping to have better luck tomorrow. They are located in Cleveland.

 

I contacted Jaguar.
They already had them on order, so i'll pick up the thermostat housing etc on Wednesday
the Rep said they always have this part on order!!!
$156 (free shipping obviously)
I suppose i should fit this myself!
