I'm looking to upgrade my 2003 Jaguar x-type by either adding a way to play my music through an iPod hookup or add a new navigation system. Does anyone have recommendations for after-market kits and Nav systems? Or even have any for sale?

 

As for aftermarket navigation, I do not know of anything. But for the ipod hookup there is the acm which is an oem jaguar product so it will cost a lot but you can hookup anything from an ipod to a usb memory stick.

 

my 2007 has both navi and acm. Of the 2, I think the acm is more useful and hence a better investment. I prefer to use the navigation on my iphone.

 

Have Navi & ACM in both the S-Type & X-Type; ACM is by far the better option. In the STR I use a Garmin unit and never use the built in Navi.

 

Using a suction cup on the windshield just does not do it for me and the power cord from the cigarette lighter just looks ugly. Is there anyone that has a better solution to using a Garmin GPS.
