Yes Dennis you know and the rest of us all know what the 08-09 grille looks like but thanks for sharing your pics again!
PS Whats the relevance of the headlight pic?

Back to the point....
Its cheaper to buy a dealer one and get it painted than use Adamesh
Bought a dealer 2009 Grille for my 2002 X Type and job was £60 (about $100??) cheaper than Adamesh even after painting and your getting the exact colour variation of the colour code for your car rather than the std variation which is usually used when a colour match cant be done as by Adamesh. Each coloir code may have up to 7 alternative variations of the same name.
Not the case with the new XJ (see sig) as dealer is nearly £1000 (yes one thousand GB Pounds!!!) bought a brand new one off ebay for £145 with free badge

PS Admaesh were twice the price of a bumper Grill and they are here in the UK so got one off Mina shipped over to here for much less.
Also, the quality in my opinion of Mina is just at least as good if not better after seeing Adameshs stuff at their stand at Thoresby UK last month during a big Jag meet

I got mine from Adamesh, and they did a fantastic job. All I had to do was give them my paint code, and thjey matched it perfectly. I have the Jaguar racing green. As with all things, somethimes you pay more to get convenience. I simply dont have the time or desire to order a grill, then go hunting for a body shop that I like, then wait for them to paint it. So, for my money, Adamesh was great, Just my 2 cents.

One quick question since you're all talking paint codes. Where do I find mine? All I see on the door panels is a warning sticker, and the Vehicle ID. I feel the same way about having to get mine painted because I don't know how much it would cost, and Amamesh is $350 delivered to the U.S., Minigallery would be $275. So, would it cost me $75 to get it painted? I know I could get the one from the U.S. faster too. Hmmm! I love that grill.

Why not use a dealer and get it painted to the correct colour code but also the correct variation of that colour code?
Its cheaper to do this (in UK at least and I thought US prices on parts were nearly always even cheaper than UK??)
The only reason I cant see anyone in the US doing it this way is if the dealers dont sell late model grilles or the price of the grill is more expensive than here in UK!

I must be nuts but it sure looks like the grille on the XF is much larger than the grill on the X-Type, I was thinking this was an aftermarket lookalike. Still would like to know where to find the paint code.

paint code is on the car's frame when you open the driver's door.

How about the reason I gave? I dont have the time nor the desire to deal with getting the grill, then having to shop around for a good body shop, then having to wait for them to paint it. Adamesh got me a great looking grill already matched to my car's color at a decent price. I just opened the box, took off the old grill, and installed the new, and I was off! I dont know what the price difference was between Adamesh versus the Mina+body shop combo, but I do know that the hassle factor is nonexistent thru Adamesh.

Same here, for $75 it seems well worth it to me to have it arive ready to install. I can't see it not costing me more than that at a body shop (an hours labor) plus finding one that will do it.
