What’s up guys. Ok. Any help is greatly appreciated. My oem keyfob buttons all worked when I bought the car 2 years ago. Once in a while I was not able to lock the doors with the keyfob lock button. Then the headlight button stopped working. But the lock would work. Now the lock button on the fob does not lock. And the light button don’t work. When I press lock I see the lights flash like it’s armed. But it don’t lock. So I reprogrammed the old fob and a new oem fob from eBay. Now on the new oem fob from eBay the light button works. But it still don’t lock the doors ? All other buttons work. Also the physical key in the drivers door locks the car. Anyone know what’s up ??

 

Mate, the first thing I'd try would be a new battery in the FOB.

Most likely the problems is in the drivers side door solenoid. The doors lock in order drivers first, passengers second, passenger rear third, and drivers rear last. If it locks with the key but not the FOB. It may be as simple as corrosion or it may mean replacing the drivers door solenoid. With the door open spray the latch assembly down with WD-40 and spray the key opening. Exercise the door opening and closing a few times and the try your fobs.
