2005 Xtype, 140,000km
​​Need new center bearing as howling noise starts at 60km. Repair shops unable to find a rebuilt drive shaft unit so I'm searching the web for a bearing supplier.

Has anyone recently done any shopping for center bearing for your XType?

Before posting, I checked ebay for this exact part, but my version of XType "Base or Premium 3.0L AWD" appears not to be compatible. However, Sport version is!? https://m.ebay.com/itm/Driveshaft-Center-Support-Bearing-Drive-Shaft-Mount-for-C2S38967E-Jaguar-X-Type-/171794537352

This confused me at which point I decided to ask on this forum. Personally, I don't see how a sport version differs on the prop shaft (drive shaft) bearing unless it has to do with floor clearance. Still unsure of this, I'll ask the person who posted the instructions which XType version he has.

According to the parts searches on Jagbits and SNG Barratt all 2.5 and 3.0 X-Types are the same part from 2002 thru 2008
