I have a 2005 X-Type and my mechanic told me my drive shaft has three parts and one is worn. Can someone point me in the direction of the cheapest way of obtaining a new drive shaft would be? I can't seem to find any on eBay

 

I noticed a problem with the drive shaft when the car vibrates when I go over 60 mph. Is there a way to fix this without buying a new drive shaft?

 

There sure is. Just before I sold my car a few weeks back I had the drive shaft balanced. Here in Perth it was a $A 185 exercise to balance (plus I guess any labour to have it removed - mine was included when I had the centre bearing balanced).
