Unhappy Need Opinion-Oil for Transmition

Today I called the AUTO PARTS WAREHOUSE. I ordered a whole buunch of parts for my x-type, and I asked them about the transmition fluid for my transmition and they told me that they had it. I ordered two litters. They gave me the name and that is the oil they use for the Audi transmition.
(FEBI BLISTEIN ATF) 1 litter was $14. Please, I need an opinion about that oil, if anyone has any expierence with it.

Default Save your mind and $$$

Forget about the Audi trans. fluid. Vacate the old 9 quarts of ATF and put in 9 qts. Mobile 1 synthetic ATF ($8.00 or less per qt.). Nuff said.

Thanks for the reply, so far you are the only one. I have a question, did you do this to your car and if you did, when (how long ago), and did you notice any changes in the preformance or smoodnes in driving, because mine has 93k never change enything. I just start from last months.
Today is my first day in the snow in the KY, lol

PS> How did you know when it was enough with the oil because you can't take out 9qts at once, atleast I can't. Please guide me, and how good is to flush all oil after so meny milles .

Default No problem!

Hi Tony, I just changed the trans. fluid due to swapping in a new engine at 68k miles. If you want all old trans. fluid out (a few qts. hide out in torque converter) then: Drain trans. fluid (measure amount vacated). After last drop: Unhook one of the trans. cooler lines, start engine and trans.fluid will gush out, stop engine when fluid stops and you hear a gurgling sound. Hook up trans. cooler line, remove battery and tray, take off the small trans. filler cap, insert thin long funnel into fill port, fill with approx. 9 qts. Mobil 1 synthetic ATF (compatible, very good, and affordable).

OK thanks. I will wait for some sunny days. now its to cold...

please if you can tell me when you open the drain plug on the bottom of the transmition, how much oil is it possible to come out from that area. For example, how big of a bucket would I need ( 5, 6, 7qts)?

Default Use an oil change canister

Tony, use the average size (10 qt.)plastic oil changing canister that auto parts store sells (approx. $7). Approx. 6 qts. will drain from trans. drain. plug.
