The rear pads were worn down to the wear bar so the car was making a lot of noise when breaking, i replaced the pads yesterday. The squealing has gone but now i get a moaning sound when i brake ..same wheel as the squealing...(rear passenger)
my rear lower control arm bushings are totally shot, could this be making the noise?
any other ideas, i tried adding anti noise compound to the pads but made no difference

 

just took a short drive and no noise now

 

My daily also makes a grinding sound when in Reverse , sometimes doesn't . I contribute this to drive in a puddle of water or when the pads get wet they can make noises , squeaks .
Another thing, your bads are too new therefore they're very hard . I was told that new pads could make noises
