Hello all you Jaguar lovers! I just came home with an '02 X-type sport. I know nothing about Jaguar except the XK120 my dad brought home when I was a kid. Been lusting after a Jag for 40 years..... it's about time there's one in the garage. My x-type is optioned with navigation, heated seats, alpine audio, automatic,17" wheels, DSC (I believe this is the correct term, my dealer says it's to enhance the AWD), auto wipers and lights, rear/front fogs, HID lamps, rear parking sensors, headlamp washers. I think that's about it. Posting a pic. I've been searching for information on retrofitting a phone, (will go aftermarket). Anyone have an opinion/experience with the Parrot 3200?

RE: New to Forum
Welcome to the group. I am fairly new here and am still learning a lot of the ropes. But, if you ask the question, someone here will have the answer for you. Worst case, I can look up things on my service CD and give you the Jaguar Service Techs way of doing things. I also have access to a lot of the TSBs for the vehicles too. So, ask away. I tend to specialize in the wiring of vehicles, but am mechanically inclined too (if you saw my lifted Expedition, that would explain a lot).
So, sit back, grab a cup of coffee, learn some and pass on the information.
