Default new spark plugs killing coils?

i replaced the spark plugs about 3 months ago at 110,000 miles.
since then i have had 3 coils fail... even a new (aftermarket) coil has just failed.
is it possible that these new spark plugs are the cause or is it just coincidence?
new plugs are champion platinum power 3401.
old plugs were AGSF22FSM5G no visible brand name

thanks for the link Dell but unless im missing something that didnt answer the question.
in fact is suggests that the plug i have is satisfactory...i.e platinum and a known brand.

i do gap my plugs to around .52 .55

my original bad coil came up with the original plugs

It is the answer. Plugs are correct, not causing the coil problem. Better check proper gap. Nearly every search I have done, each mfg. Says "do not gap/regap" as they are set correctly from the factory. Note each of the attached brands, all for 2006 Jaguar X Type (mine) are different.

Of course, that still would not affect nor cause a coil problem.

thanks for the reassurance.
i didnt think it would/could affect the coil but i figured id ask the collective.
ive always gapped my plugs as
a. there is no "one gap fits all"
b. after checking gap on new plugs found they were way off the necessary specs.
my current champions were set at about 0.45 from the store
