Default New summer car for when the snow stops.

X-Type has been GREAT in the light snow and ice so far. Took off the summer tires and BBS rims and mounted the stock rims and snow tires.

For the summer toy, traded in the Porsche 911 for a 2006 V-10 BMW M5. This thing is a BEAST!!!

Just finished a few mods with the BEAST.....silver and black carbon fiber roundels on wheels, hood, trunk and steering wheel. Matte black front grill, new matte black side shark grills, blacked out rear M5 emblem and added blacked out V10 emblem. Really love this car....but by no means will be as dependable or reliable as the Jag. This Jag is so awesome in the winter in Colorado!!! Looking to upgrade the X-Type stereo with aftermarket Double Din/NAV soon. Just wanted to share a few pics of the toys. Also, thanks to the forum for all the great help with the X-Type and info!!! That thing turns heads also

That m5 looks so mean!!!! I love it!

I agree with you though. There is really no better car in the colorado winters other than the jag. It's classy, and gives you peace of mind while rolling down i70 and hitting a nice impromptu patch of black ice.

Thanks, I really love the Jag. Perfect winter car, looks nice, classic looking and has everything I need. I hate parking it outside the garage, but have no room in the 2 car garage. With snow tires on it....this is my winter beast, nice to have a summer beast also
