OK, I'm at my wits end. Today the DCS, Gearbox and engine system faults came on after I slammed on the brakes. Then if I sat in the car, car in park, pressed repeatedly on the brake with then engine running it would go into fault, all three. Regular as clockwork. After doing it about 10 times finally it popped a CEL and code, P0121, so TPS.

I pulled the throttle body, sprayed in a ton of TB cleaner and it was pretty dirty but not caked crap, just dirty. Sprayed some electronic contact cleaner into the all the plugs.

Can't get it to do it anymore. I got the idea of the TPS from the XJ forums searching for multiple faults. We'll see. Car is up for sale though. Enough is enough.
