I went ahead and pulled the trigger on getting the new wheels. Now I just need to paint the calipers and I will be in business. There is absolutely no rubbing and I think they look great. With the offset it moves the wheel out in the wheel well a bit and they actually look a little bigger than the factory ones did (they're the same size though so optical illusion only). I agree. When you look down the length of the car you can tell theygive the car amore aggresive stance. Good option for anyone that wants an Aruba look in the 17" size.

Yeah nice very clean! They look stock but I wish they were 18's...

 

I like the look of the 18s as well, but I also like having a bit more rubber between me and the road. Plus I already had almost new Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires in the 17" size. (SWEET tire, btw) I wasn't trying to depart too much from the stock look so these fit the bill.

As far as the tire shine stuff I will have to let you know when I get back home tomorrow. This is the first bottle of the stuff I have ever used and it is by far the best. When they say no wiping or shining required they actually mean it. The name is escaping me at the moment.

Hopefully I'll be getting the rims I found on craigslist...they are 18's but I'm waiting for the guy to hit me up and let me know what he wants to do! I can't wait...I hear you on the extra rubber and since you already had the tires it only makes the most sense! As long as you like them thats all that matters but they do look stock! That is what I like about the ones I found they kind of look stock...they look a lot different than they do when they aren't on the car that is for sure but I still don't think they look as good as they would on my car...plus he didn't have a side on pic of them to get a better idea what you are looking at...anything's better than what I have!
