Hi All

I am a newbie to owning jags.I had the chance to buy one which I did and love this baby blue x type 2002.I am not a fast driver but like cars which are comfortable to drive which this one is and I love it.55K on the clock however the other day a light came on the dashboard and as I am not very technical as you may have guessed I took it to our local garage to have a look and was told it was the camshaft sensor no 2.This was replaced and ran like a sweetie.Unfortunately the light has come back on but it is still running very well. Any suggestions as to the problem and will it be expensive to fix??

Dawnio, I would recommend taking it somewhere to have the code(s) read out of the computer. Have them write the codes down for you and then post them here. That will help us out a lot in determining where the problem lies.

Taking a wild stab in the dark at this problem, I would venture to guess that if the light came back on that it either wasn't the sensor or you have a broken wire associated with the sensor and there needs to be a new plug spliced into the factory harness.
