Default No Wheel Locking Nut Key?

Bought a 2nd hand X-Type 2.0 Diesel 2004 from a Private seller.

Just noticed that the Locking Nut Key that I got given doesn't actually fit any of the nuts on the alloys.

What do I need to do?

Do I need to get the whole set of 4 locking nuts drilled off and changed for new ones?

Or is there some way I can get a new key or some kind of unlocking tool?

Spoke to Jaguar Dealer and they were talking in the region of £200 to sort this out which I would like not to have to pay if I can help it.

Cheers guys.

I'd believe that any experienced mechanic or tire shop would be able to get the lugs off the car w/o too much trouble. I'd then recommend just getting new locking lug nuts, or just forget about them all together and get some ordinary ones. I'm not really sure that wheels for an 8 year old bottom of the line (sorry...) Jaguar are really that likely to be stolen.

+1 on the mechanic / tyre depot solution

Pab,

Engsnayl lives near Manchester in the UK. He could get the wheels stolen just stopping at traffic lights there.

Other than that, your advice is flawless. The removal tools wreck the locknuts but don't damage the wheel studs.
