Default Normal Movement X Type 2D Turbo Actuator

Hi

I would like to know what is the normal movement of a turbo actuator on the 2.0 Diesel.

On mine the actuator is towards the rear of the car with ignition off.

It does not move with ignition on until the starter is engaged. It then moves what would seem to be fully forward and stays roughly in that position while the engine idles.

Revving the car causes the actuator to move towards the rear of the car, but it only moves a little (perhaps an inch) and seems slow to respond.

Turn ignition off and the arm moves back to position at rest (towards rear of car). It sounds a bit like a clockwork mechanism when it returns.

I suspect it is not moving as freely as it should and probably not moving as far as it should when revved.

Has anyone watched the actuator?
