Default O2 Sensor problems

Hi to all not sure if I'm doing this right but I have just bought a jaguar se 2.5 awd. It's due mot in June and it's showing a 02 sensor problem. Will it pass an mot with a light on or any idea what the problem is. It's my first Jag and you might think it silly but I just fell in love with it. I'm now a bit worried about what it will cost to fix. I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks

MIL on = fail. Just fix it

Cheap OBD tool like elm327 should tell you the codes and off you go.

MIL illuminated is a definite fail under current MoT Regulations.

Get the codes read and post them back here. Post the actual codes and not the descriptions for the best advice.
